In the next, fourth installment of the Music Lessons series, we invite you to listen to the story of the legend of cool jazz - Chet Baker. The narrators will be outstanding personalities of the European jazz scene, French trumpeter David Enhco and Swiss pianist Marc Perrenoud, and the meeting place will be our intimate and open space, as always intimate.
You will hear jazz standards on which the hero of the October lesson left his mark, and you will learn why his fate and work continue to inspire artists around the world.
An incurable romantic, a fashion icon, a tragic figure, a trumpet virtuoso - after the next music lesson, you will decide for yourself who Chet Baker is to you.
More about the project:
David Enhco and Marc Perrenoud recreate the musical journey and tragic fate of Chet Baker, made of poetry and light, but also trials and darkness. On stage, everything is energy and improvisation. They create music without boundaries, dense with emotions, with charm, boldness and virtuosity. An intimate portrait showing the shadows of the hero and two musicians who dare to expose themselves in order to rediscover the fragility that touches us so much in Chet Baker.
