Możdżer / Smoliński / Betley is a virtuoso trio with an unusual sound, drawing on jazz, classical and ethnic traditions. Perfectly embedded in the pulse, handling various percussion instruments, Patrycja Betley is a percussionist with a precise strike, having an exceptional talent for building rhythmic tension. Her characteristic sound gives the whole trio a special color, all the more so because Kacper Smoliński's harmonica, which is a partner to it, is a fully solo instrument, able to conduct a virtuoso dialogue with Leszek Możdżer, a very experienced musician sitting behind the piano, for whom there are no stylistic limitations. Such a combination of personalities results in music full of emotions, formal beauty and spontaneous virtuosity, because all three are outstanding, joyful improvisers.
