The renowned pianist will perform on November 28th in the beautiful Nowa Miodowa concert hall in Warsaw.
To mark the tenth anniversary of his debut album Solipsism, Joep Beving will play a series of concerts this November in prestigious concert halls across Europe. The Dutch composer and pianist will perform the iconic album live in its entirety, along with a selection of his favorite pieces from his broader body of work.
Originally self-released in 2015, Solipsism presents Beving’s reflective and intimate approach to piano music. Over time, his compositions have captured the hearts of millions of listeners worldwide. This anniversary tour offers a rare opportunity to experience the album live in full for the very first time.
Joep Beving is a celebrated pianist signed to Deutsche Grammophon. Towering over two meters tall, the Dutch musician pairs his striking image of a wild-bearded figure with elegant and emotionally rich music that draws on ambient and neoclassical influences. Critics have compared his style to that of Ólafur Arnalds, Hania Rani, Max Richter, and Nils Frahm.
Beving cites inspirations ranging from Chopin, Satie, and Mahler to Keith Jarrett and Radiohead. He is also deeply influenced by ancient philosophy and Eastern spirituality, describing his music as a “quiet rebellion against the madness.”
